(m) BODY was a theoretical design proposition for a western extension of the USC campus. It takes a biological approach to the massing and design of this extension - with a network of cells (buildings) being connected through the cell boundaries (circulation).  All Buildings included a rooftop garden that takes on a much different form from other rooftop gardens, being derived from organic form.  The conceptual mass model is made up of acrylic that was vacuum formed to a foam mass. Along with thin sheets of aluminum showing the circulation, this model is able to glow at dark showing how they are separate masses all connected through familiarity an becomes a family of pods.
